She has attended courses with Josep Soler, Leonardo Balada, Mauricio Sotelo and Luís Naón. Throughout her career she has received several composition awards, including the Joaquim Maideu Award (2004, 2008), the Dolors Calvet Award (2010), the Ciutat de Reus Award for children’s choirs (2009), the Sincrònic Award (2010) and the Ziryab Award (2014, 2016). In 2014, she was selected by Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, USA) for the premiere of her work Synchronies. Her music is published by Dinsic, Periferia Música and Brotons & Mercadal.
Her work includes chamber music, choral creation and contemporary opera, with a consolidated presence in today’s music scene. The chamber opera Filles del món, with a libretto by Ariadna Pastor, premiered in 2023 at the Gran Teatre del Liceu as part of the Oh!Opera project, under the musical direction of Irene Delgado-Jiménez. The work explores themes of dignified death and personal memory from a contemporary perspective. In 2025, the production began its international journey with a performance at Teatro Biobío in Concepción (Chile), under the stage direction of Alícia Serrat.
Also in the operatic field, La Jove Aïda will premiere in October 2026 at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, in a production by the Gran Teatre del Liceu and Òpera a Catalunya. Developed in collaboration with playwright and stage director Jordi Casanovas, and with Onionlab responsible for visual and artistic design, the project offers a contemporary reinterpretation of Verdi’s repertoire, integrating dramaturgy, visual language and new musical writing, with Dani Perpiñán as musical director.
In 2024, she was selected to take part in the European project Trans Europe Express, promoted by Ensemble Des Équilibres, with her work The Weight of Winter Light. In the 2026/27 season, she participates in the Cantagran project at L’Auditori de Barcelona, a large-scale initiative that connects contemporary creation with collective choral practice.
Her writing is characterized by expressive density, timbral exploration, and a strong dramaturgical awareness of musical gesture.
